Minecraft Pocket Edition is the Android version of everyone’s favorite sandbox with pixel graphics. The developers did everything necessary for Minecraft PE APK to appear on Android and not be inferior to the desktop version of the game. A number of game modes are still available here, from survival to creative. You can either be in a constant struggle for survival, or show creative qualities, building your own unique world. What to do in the game – everyone decides for himself, because Minecraft Pocket Edition APK is a life simulator. Here you can take the warring side and become the “king of the mountain” or develop without much violence. There is a choice between single player mode and multiplayer, which is available via Wi-Fi.
I was having this problem with my daughter’s installation, and I was able to fix it by deleting and reinstalling the app. She had several worlds saved that she didn’t want to lose, but I was (thankfully) able to back up and restore those too.For those interested, here are specific instructions:1) Download the “iExplorer” application from Macroplant, and install on your PC/Mac. It’s a paid application, but has a free, unlimited-time demo that includes the tiny sliver of functionality you need here.
(Note: You don’t have to use this specific application — if you have another application that lets you browse/copy specific files on your device (iPhone, iPad, etc), feel free to use that instead. I found this one yesterday, and it worked well.)2) Start the application (iExplorer or whatever) on your PC/Mac.3) Connect your device to your computer.4) Once your device appears in iExplorer, go to Device Apps Minecraft games com.mojang minecraftWorlds5) Copy all of the folders from “minecraftWorlds” to your local PC. (They will have strange names like “AVZTXU2fAAB=”)6) Your maps are now backed up, so disconnect your device from the computer, and delete / reinstall Minecraft on your device.7) Verify that the application now starts successfully on your device after the reinstallation.8) Quit the application on your device.9) Reconnect your device to your computer.10) Copy the “minecraftWorlds” sub-folders back to the com.mojang minecraftWorlds folder on your device.11) At this point, your device should have a working Minecraft application, and all of your old worlds.
Mine craft dis not working for us on iPad 2 9.3.5, as per below it does not seem to work after the update on 29 October version 1.13 202 mb update. It gets the Mojang logo splash screen screen come up for approx. 10 seconds, then it goes to a white screen for approx. Another 10 seconds, and then it drops out back to the home screen. Can’t seem to laod the app. But if you swipe to see the apps being used on the iPad it shows the last scene before being closed prior to the new update.
My son is keen to get back on. I’m not keen to reload as everything was perfectly fine before the update, so I assume it’s the update that is the problem. It hasn’t been working for 6 days now keep trying on the odd chance. Will there be a new update soon to fix the bug?. When I open Minecraft on my iPad (v10.3.3) it shows the Mojang logo (with the name) and waits 2seconds then kicks me out back to the Home screen. Now this could be my fault too, because I have 847MB Worth of Worlds.
And there all worth keeping, but you see I don’t want to loose them by deleting MC and Re-Installing. So I Don’t Know if it’s me for having little Storage Space or if it’s Happening to others now Idk if this can be resolved outside of Minecraft or if I’m Screwed and Have to Get used to PC after 8 Years MCPE gameplay. Just so you know I’m 15 and it’s November 2, 2019 – 3:50 PM. I put Minecraft for Android on my new Galaxy Tab S6 running A9. It lets me in. I can set parameters to create a world, but every time I hit the Create World button, I get the “dirt” screen with the message “world can not be created” and an okay button.
I’ve reported the bug and asked the official site for help but got no response. I’ve updated everything, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing helps. The app gives no other message to indicate that I’m missing something. Any help is appreciated. I found a glitch where every time I’m logged into my microsoft account while I’m playing minecraft when I’m not connected to the internet, it’ll keep lagging me out unless I’m connected to the internet.
The only way I could get minecraft working even if i’m not using the internet, I’d have to sign out of my account which I rather not do because I have to be signed into my account if I want to get achievements. Another glitch I found is that if I turned my phone off while I’m playing minecraft and turn it back on, the game would freeze and crash. Tried two different Xbox sign in ids both get the same results.Minecraft IOS is not working properly and hasn’t been for a few weeks now.Everything just loads and loads. Go to Marketplace and it says I have 0 mine coins and when I go to the packs I own it only shows the city texture pack, both are false results.
If I click on the plus sign beside the minecoin box, it takes me to a loading screen and then tells me cannot connect to market place and to check that my device is connected to the internet. It crashes too. This is happening on all of my kids’ iPads. (I have 4 unhappy Minecrafters.)They’ve been playing for years & don’t want to lose world they’ve created. On some iPads it just freezes on the home page & does nothing —it won’t open or load or anything. My youngest’s comes up w/a notification that she needs to purchase the app!!We’ve already purchased it!(Not only for iPad/mobile app & all the add ons & crap, but we also have it for PC & XBox.I mean, we’ve invested $$$ in you, Mojang.)Please tell me there is a way to get there apps to work on their iPads and phones again.Anyone have solutions or advice???. When I got into Minecraft it is all goods until I tap on one of my worlds and it starts loading like normal then it just kicked me out. I only got it the other day and it was working fine until yesterday or this morning, I forget but that’s when it started being strange and I just haven’t been on it unless I wanna change my Minecraft skin. But I have also had problems with it.
As I’m clicking on the ‘Choose skin’ thingy it starts lagging randomly and then kicks me out and btw I have been playing/trying to play on iOS iPhone 5s.Thanks! Well for my son, his friends or myself haven’t been able to connect to his worlds in over a month. He has no problem connecting to other people’s worlds or realms but no one can join his. I have set up the account settings to allow multiplayer on the microsoft/Xbox account but to no avail(in the game it says the microsoft multiplayer privacy settings are turned off when I know for a fact they are on.). I’ve also, made new accounts, uninstalled, reinstalled, ECT.
Nothing is working and I’m at my wits-endand now to also top it off, the game will get to the title screen to press play, then it crashed and leaves the game. Any help at all pleaseI’ve tried everything. Can’t enter my world on my iPad 2.
(It’s August 8, 2019, GMT.)It’s an “Old” world, which I chose in the hopes it would be easier on resources. When I try to Play and select my world, I get the “Generating world” screen,” and it shows all the little hints. But it never gets any farther than that. I can sit there for thirty minutes and it just cycles through all the messages. Not sure whether that’s related to an outage or not. (I wouldn’t have thought that my world relied on the network at all. I figured it was just that my iPad 2 is rather old.). With the new update, I’m not able to open Minecraft PE what so ever. It keeps closing as soon as I try to open it.
I tried playing it though MPCE Master, it worked for a few moments after loading for 5 minutes, then crashed when I tried playing a block. Nothing seems to work, my live X-box account wont load, but if it does, my gammer tag is something completely different from what I have it set as.
Keep in mind, everything worked perfectly, for the whole day, until I updated it to 1.12.0.48. By the way, I’m using an Android on a Kyocera Duraforce Pro. Hi I recently started playing Minecraft again after a couple months of not. Today, I was going to play with my friend through Xbox Live and she couldn’t join me because it said “unable to connect to world” and I tried joining her world and was able to. So I started researching on the internet what to do. On the Xbox website I changed something and ever since then, my game has been unable to even start up. It would crash on the screen.
Sometimes it would open but for only a few seconds. I’m not sure why.
I want to logout of my Xbox live account but can’t. I want to delete some of my worlds to clear up space but can’t. I even offloaded the app and restarted my phone but nothing is working. I downloaded Minecraft about a week ago, and haven’t had problems with it, aside from it crashing once in a great while, while I was doing something crazy.
Then today, it started crashing about every 10 min. Now, I tried to open it several times.
Every time, I would get to my world, click on it, and then it would crash after about five seconds on the loading screen. I was eventually able to open my world, but I wasn’t able to play for more than about 2 min. When it crashed again.
I don’t know what is going on, as my wifi is good and the app is updated (or it should be). I am playing on and Android tablet. My minecraft app will load the main page, log me into xbox live, but when I click to play the menu that’s supposed to showcase my worlds and my realm, nothing shows up. The list is completely empty.
I’m from Norway but vacationing in Croatia right now. My friends that are members of my realm (I’m the realm owner) can play, but I can’t. Anyone else having this issue?
Or is there something I can do to fix it? I have restarted my phone, deleted and re-downloaded the app, nothing is working.
After a while the message “we cant connect to realms right now” pops up. It’s been like this for 5 days. Word of warning, do not buy anything from mineplex, inpvp etc (all those servers) if you are using Windows 10 Edition.
There is a bug with the Microsoft Store. You will get the error: We were unable to connect to the app store. Maybe sign in to the app store or try checking your internet connection. This is a bug that has gone unresolved for a few months and there is no sign of anyone working to fix it. Signing into your account via the app store does not help.
Your best bet is to get a refund. IOS also has issues. If you must have your minecoins or other items, do so via Android version of MC (same account, just on the phone instead of PC). The google play store will register your server purchases better than the Win10 version via MS Store. One way to avoid that happening is to export the worlds if you can.
I’m not sure what stage you can get to in the loading process. If you are able to get past the white loading screen, then click on Play. After that, click on the little pencil icon next to the world name.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the settings that pop up and click on export world. This should make a copy of it that you could email to yourself, that way when you redownload the game, you can just load up the world by clicking on the exported world file. Hope this helps. I am having the same problems as everyone else here, minecraft starts not responding as soon as its fixing to load in, sometimes only getting to the last 2 bars, then it will load in and start to stutter, then crash, and may or may not brick my laptop. It happens most of the time, sometimes I can work around it by logging in in airplane mode, then switching to back to wifi, but that doesn’t work every time. I did notice that its usually when its logging into xbox live, I’ve checked Xbox live status each time, and its connected and good to go. But the game works perfectly fine when I’m not logged in.
I have tried literally everything short of resetting my laptop that the internet had had to offer and I’m beyond frustrated. I’m on windows 10 bedrock v 1.10.1, this only started happening after the update to 1.10.1, the one that was supposed to fix the lag and didnt, and I’ve read in many places many mcpe users are also having this problem, but idk if the scrappy mods on the forum are even listening, its much easier to blame our hardware than to actually get Mojang to look into it. So i was playing and i then left but came back on and it just stayed 4/5th of the way on the loading bar. With the minecraft name then i re-installed it logged into xbox but lost all info then every time i left the game it kept doing the same. Staying 4/5th on the loading bar.
I dont think all my info is gone cause u retreive all info when u have xbox but my skin was my less reacent one and all my 29 worlds werent there. But ive seen it may be down at this time so im convinced im not doomed. Tell me if this is happening to you! Luckily i have all my server stuff like friends recovered so its not the servers with a problem:/. I play on iOS.
On the 3/1/19 I couldn’t open any worlds or create any. I would press the “Create” button or just press on the world to open it and nothing would happen. I did manage to open one of my old worlds which happened to be a downloaded map and when I was loaded in, there were no buildings, only spaces where the buildings should be. I don’t know how to fix. I’ve tried restarting my iPad, but it doesn’t change anything. I don’t want to reinstall in case I lose all of my worlds and servers. Yesterday, Minecraft Pocket Edition stopped working on my son’s Android tablet.
At first, neither of us could enter the other’s world, which was frustrating enough. Then, things got bad. When he tries to open any world, the progress bar advances to the last tick mark and stays there indefinitely. I am not having this issue on my Android phone. We tried reinstalling his app, and for a while we were back to the first problem (but with all his worlds gone). This morning, he suddenly has his worlds back, but they winwo load. It started crashing yesterday night.
Now I can’t do anything about it. My iPad is an iPad mini 4 with 70+ GBs free of space, all apps have been cleared of cache and are not allowed to to run in the background. My Minecraft is on update 1.5.3, and my IOS is on 11.4.1; one update below the latest, but I’m certain it won’t matter. My Minecraft has not allowed me to go past the title screen, and if it rarely does, I can not go to any worlds. There is absolutely no excuse for this to be happening, other than the exact same thing happened to me with my old iPad mini 2. I am so glad to hear others are having this same problem, as I almost uninstalled the app so I could do a fresh install, but, of course, doing so would have deleted all of my and my daughter’s work in our worlds we play in all the time.
It looks like uninstalling doesn’t really fix the issue and I am hoping Mojang comes up with a patch like tomorrow morning so my girl and I can play together again. Heysome people bond with their kids by reading a book togetherI play games with my kid and that’s how we bond and share time together! Don’t judge me! Anyway, I actually noticed the issue happening when they put up the new sale a day ago. Not the initial sale, but the day two of the sale when they added that gorgeous main screen backgroundI believe it is a sample of one of the texture packs or mash-ups on sale this weekend. It has the pretty light blue water with the hot air balloons in the sky. Not sure if this is when you all noticed the issue began, but, as pretty and enticing as that texture pack looks, I need my Minecraft to start working again!!
Thank you Mojang!! 🙂Good luck all! Happy gaming!. Playing on Android, app started closing on it’s own about an hour ago. I have updates turned off, so the first thing I tried was checking for updates. There was one, so i installed and tried playing again. Still closes right at the main menu screen.
On the rare attempt that it allows me to get to the world selection screen, it tells me I can’t play online because of how my account is set up. I checked my privacy and online settings and all are enabled or allowed, so I guess it must be the app or something. I hope it’s fixed soon, and I hope it saved my progress. IPad 3, version 9.3.5Minecraft opens white screen with red mojang logo, then white screen with Minecraft written in stone, then it goes to the home screen. Over and over and over and over. This is my 7 year old daughter’s iPad.
She earned her iPad time AND mommy time (where mommy has to spend thirty minutes playing anything she wants) and she wanted mommy to help her build a house in Minecraft (which mommy normally avoids like the plague). As much as mommy isn’t heartbroken over the broken Minecraft, it is kind of frustrating! I mean, the kid helped clean the house, folded laundry, AND practiced the piano for half an hour in order to play this game and now we can’t play it.
Hope it gets fixed soon!. I have a workaround that has worked on 3 devices in my household.1. Make sure Minecraft is NOT open.2. Change the devices’ date (in settings) from automatic to a little while before the bug – we chose June 18th.3.
Turn off the devices’ internet access (both Wi-Fi and mobile data)4. Open Minecraft.5. Open settings from the title screen, goto Profile.6. Sign Out of Xbox live.— to play multi-player you’ll need to perform the additional steps below.7. Gpu caps viewer 1.40. Re-enable the internet.8.
Click ‘sign into xbox live’9. Click ‘add account’ (DO NOT click directly on your email if it’s already listed)10. Login using your email and password. (if it errors just try again)10b.You must have entered your password in the step above for Minecraft to work while on Xbox live. If you accidentally logged in another way, go back to step 3.11. You can now access realms etc.It may sound long-winded but as long as you follow the instructions word for word, it works and is simple. This fix has continued to work on all devices I’ve done it on since I did them yesterday.
But you can always repeat the fix.You may need to repeat the above if you return the device settings to the current date before Minecraft fix the bug.Good luck, hopefully it will be fixed properly soon. I updated Minecraft PE on my G Pad 7.0 LTE to v1.2.13 maybe a week or so ago and since then, I haven’t been able to play Minecraft w/o internet. I used to play w/o internet all the time, and everything is up to date, so it must be a bug with the update. I’ve already attempted to clear cache/data on the app, uninstall it, restart my tablet, and reinstall it but that hasn’t worked. I’ve also attempted to disable multiplayer, but that didn’t work either. Does anyone have a solution to this or do I just need to wait for the next update and hope this gets fixed??.
My daughter is trying to buy some coins, but it timed out. Now it’s saying “Incomplete Minecoin Purchase – It looks like we didn’t finish things last time. Let’s complete your purchase now”. Then when I click “OK”, it spins for a few seconds and says: “Something went wrong – We were unable to connect to the app store. Maybe sign in to the app store or try checking your internet connection”.
I’ve double check my internet connection (it’s working on the iPad & elsewhere), and I’ve signed into the App Store (no problems, I even confirmed that I have the latest version of the the Minecraft App). Any suggestions?? My son cannot enter any of the worlds he created. Every time he tries, he gets kicked back to the world selection screen.
He is using v. 1.2.5 on iOS 11.1.2. He deleted some worlds. He tried to create a new world, and was kicked out of the app entirely. He doesn’t want to re-install because he has worked so hard on his worlds, and doesn’t want to lose them! Minecraft updated yesterday, but it did not fit the problem. This has been going on for at least a week.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!.
My son plays Minecraft PE on Kindle fire. Today, 11/19/17, it crashes on him every couple minutes. He has been trying to play it for the past 20 minutes or so and it has crashed over 8 times. Also, since the update with all the minigame servers, it has been gliche and crashing, and when ever I try to play a mini game with him (me on my LG phone and him on his fire) the following happens: If he invites me and I accept, it sends me to a different realm, then if he tries to invite me a second time it says he has no friends. If I try to invite him, I can invite him over and over and he never receives the invite.
On my Pendo tablet- Android, Minecraft PE has been down for nearly 9 days. It blackscreens and goes back to home page. I would have re-started at least 100 times by now. The battery went flat without warning while I was playing and shut down. I was extensively using seas sponges to dry up a walled underwater city but only in small stages. At first I thought I might have glitched it by over-using the sponges but I see that many others have the same issue.
I’ve googled how to save my worlds and my progress but I’m a VERY NON techno savvy Nanna and don’t understand half of the words let alone to try to do it and I would be very disappointed if I had to uninstall and reinstall the game, risking the loss of all my progress. This is the only game I like playing to relax so I’m asking nicely, “Please fix it soon”.
